Windmill Caravan Park is a tranquil, boutique sized park set in a quiet, tropical atmosphere central to Hervey Bay.  Enjoy an easy walk to the beach, Urangan Pier, Botanic Gardens, Shopping Centre, restaurants, hotels and clubs.

The Park is FAMILY OWNED and OPERATED.  Over the past decade, the owner has gradually transformed what was a tired park it into a FRESH, CLEAN, WELCOMING and SAFE space. The service is friendly and personal with a focus on all guests and visitors being respectful of one another.  We are able to provide local advice for your stay in Hervey Bay and information about Tours and bookings.  We offer assisted parking, should the need arise.

Windmill provides:  66 fully powered caravan and tent sites | fully serviced cabins |  shaded swimming pool | games room | large camp kitchen | dump point | dog wash | modern amenities block.

The friendly owners offer you a personalised, full booking service for tourist information, tours and adventures to K’Gari, Whale Watching and other attractions, along with courtesy pick up and drop off from Windmill Caravan Park, at no extra cost.

Self-Catering

Self-Catering Accommodation Explained

Self-Catering accommodation is usually a holiday home, a cabin or an apartment that is equipped with cooking facilities, cutlery, crockery pots and pans. The self-catering aspect of this type of accommodation is NOT serviced daily and any consumables like tea, coffee, toilet paper and the like may be supplied as a starter pack, but are not replenished during your stay. Once these items are used you will need to purchase more yourself.

Please note that, at the Windmill we provide full linen service at the commencement of your stay and, thereafter, weekly, should your stay be longer than one week.

Should you wish to receive fresh towels and/or other linen before the expiration of 7 days, the cost for this service is as follows:

Linen (sheets/pillow cases):       $18 per set (or $45 if bed/s to be re-made)

Towels:                                             $7.50 each

                                   Please note that there are laundry facilities in the complex for your convenienc

By making a booking with us, you agree to these check-in times and all other terms including automatic debit for the sum of not less than $25 for early arrival. 

We are a small family owned Park with limited staff.  We have a lot of work to complete before you arrive so please do not arrive early and please leave on time.
